24-hour School Security Officer Course is a
comprehensive course that covers the history
and development of campus security;
authority of campus security officers, the
campus security officer’s role in the
educational environment; search and seizure;
the student discipline process; campus
crimes and rule violations; issues of
liability; security awareness in the
educational environment; trespassers,
weapons and other security issues; mediation
and conflict resolution; threat assessment
and crisis management; dynamics of student
behavior; parking and traffic control.
