This Campus Security Officer Course meets the training requirements mandated by SB 1626 for Campus Security Personnel as defined in Education Code 38001.5 and 72330.5 and Business and Professions Code 7583.31

Instructor

Philip L. Mullendore, Institute for Campus Safety, is a 36 year law enforcement veteran. and holds a Bachelor, Masters and Doctor degree in Criminal Justice. His career includes 8 years as a Deputy sheriff, and 25 years as a Chief of Campus Police and Safety for both an urban K-12 School district and an urban community college. He has been an elected member of a public school district Board of Trustees and has twice been the President of the California College and University Police Chiefs Association He is the current Executive Director of the California College and University Police Chiefs Association. Dr. Mullendore was a paid consultant to the Bureau of Security and Investigative Services to develop the School Security Course as mandated by SB 1626. Dr, Mullendore has consulted with school and college district and has presented both the California and National version of the School Security Course throughout the nation.

About the Course

This course meets the training requirements mandated by SB 1626 for Campus Security Personnel as defined in Education Code 38001.5 and 72330.5. Student will receive student workbooks and a certificate of completion upon successful completion of the course.
